Craft a stick of chalk to draw out your layout. Use the wand to place ghost blocks in the layout you want your build.
Right click in the air to remove the ghost blocks. It removes them in a 20 meter area.
Once you are ready to build you can simple place blocks on the ghost blocks and they go away.
